Italy: market cap of firms listed on Milan Stock Exchange 2022

The total value of the market capitalization of companies listed on the Milan Stock Exchange increased overall from 2015 to 2022, albeit with some fluctuation. As of DEeember 2022, the market cap of these companies was approximately 625 billion euros, almost 125 billion euros above the value recorded at the beginning of the time period under observation. Market capitalization of companies listed on the Milan Stock Exchange peaked in 2021, when it reached a value of nearly 770 billion euros.
