Rate of paid leave actually taken Japan 2013-2022
The acquisition rate of annual paid holidays in Japan stood at 62.1 percent in 2022. Despite constituting the highest rate recorded during the surveyed period, there was still a clear gap between the average number of granted paid holidays and the average number of paid holidays actually taken in Japan.
