Videogames have been becoming more popular among Brazilian internet users throughout recent years. Approximately 37 percent of those who participated in a survey in 2018 said they owned or used videogaming equipment, up from 30 percent of the respondents interviewed during the previous year. Moreover, gaming revenue in Latin America altogether is expected to keep growing in the next years.
