The so called 'Land of fires' (also called as the Triangle of death) is an area in the Italian southern region of Campania, known for being one of the largest illegal waste dump in Europe.

The source reported also that the following infringements occurred frequently:
- irregular labelling of food products;
- non-compliance in the traceability system of buffalo milk;
- buffalo mozzarella containing cow’s milk;
- coloured seed oils with chlorophyll illicitly marketed as extra virgin olive oils;
