This statistic illustrates the outcome of measures taken by law enforcement in agri-food sector in Italian 'Land of fires' in 2016 and 2017, by type. In the 57 municipalities of the so called Land of fires, the Italian law enforcement carried out 20 seizures in 2016 and 21 seizures in 2017. If the number of crime reports remained stable, the warning and the administrative penalties decreased consistently.

The so called 'Land of fires' (also called as the Triangle of death) is an area in the Italian southern region of Campania, known for being one of the largest illegal waste dump in Europe.
The source reported also that the following infringements occurred frequently:
- irregular labelling of food products;
- non-compliance in the traceability system of buffalo milk;
- buffalo mozzarella containing cow’s milk;
- coloured seed oils with chlorophyll illicitly marketed as extra virgin olive oils;
