In 2023, about a third of consumers in the Netherlands were planning to shop during Black Friday. Despite the rise of Green Friday, an event focused on ethical and sustainable consumption of goods, the number of people taking advantage of Black Friday in the Netherlands (and worldwide) has also grown.
