Gross government debt of Luxembourg 2011-2017 The statistic displays the general government gross debt of Luxembourg from 2011 to 2017, as share of GDP. Over the seven year period considered, the general government gross debt of Luxembourg peaked in 2013, at close to 24 percent of GDP. In the following three years the government debt as share of GDP decreased year on year, and as of 2016, Luxembourg registered a gross government debt of roughly 21 percent of GDP. By 2017, this had increased again slightly, to 23 percent.
