Consumption of meat in the Netherlands 2012-2016, by type
This statistic displays the results of a survey of the average daily consumption of meat and meat substitutes in the Netherlands from 2012 to 2016, by type, in grams. The survey results show that on average, survey respondents consumed more poultry than pork or beef. From 2012 to 2016, respondents consumed an average of 16.4 grams of chicken or turkey daily, while the amount of meat substitutes consumed on a daily basis was lowest, at just 1.5 grams.
