EV/EBITDA is a value often used to measure success rates of M&A transactions. It can be seen that 2017 median EV/EBITDA acquisition multiples were higher across all industries compared to the previous 20 years before. The Telecom industry saw an increase of eight, marking it as an industry of note for mergers and acquisitions in 2017.
