Healthcare expenditure in Saint Kitts and Nevis accounted for six percent of its gross domestic product (GDP) in 2021, up from five percent recorded a year prior. During the decade analyzed, this figure remained relatively stable, ranging from an equivalent of five to six percent of the country's GDP. In comparison, that year Cuba's healthcare spending corresponded to 14 percent of its GDP, the highest value reported among Latin American and Caribbean countries.
