Perceived and actual share of renewable energy sources used in India 2018 This statistic presents the results of a survey on perceived amount of energy used that comes from renewable sources in India as of October 2018. According to data published by Ipsos, Indian respondents slightly underestimated the use of renewable energy sources in their country. On average, the respondents thought that around 33 percent of energy consumed in the country came from renewable sources, when the actual amount was around 36 percent.
