Michał Jankowski, whose username is Nisha, was the highest-earning e-sports player in Poland as of July 2022, with earnings of nearly 1.7 million U.S. dollars. Next were Neo (Filip Kubski) and TaZ (Wiktor Wojtas).  

Are Poles interested in e-sports?

    Professional computer game competitions, also known as e-sports, are enjoyed by every fourth Polish gamer; relatively few non-gamers were interested in e-sports. Over the years, FIFA, League of Legends, and Counter-Strike have remained the most popular e-sports games in the country. As of January 2022,  Marcin Jankowski, playing under the ID Jankos, was the highest-earning Polish League of Legends player. Since 2010, the player has accumulated over 415 thousand U.S. dollars in prize money earnings.  

Platforms for e-sports watching

     YouTube has been the most popular platform for e-sports watching in Poland. At the same time, about one in 10 Polish e-sports fans chose to watch their favorite competitions on TV. Over the past few months, the number of YouTube app downloads has fluctuated. It peaked in December 2021, when the American online video sharing and social media app was downloaded almost 155 thousand times.
