This statistic shows the results of a survey about perceived misuse of personal information for targeted advertising purposes when signed in across Australia as of August 2018, by age. During the survey period, 74 percent of respondents from Australia aged 18 to 24 years and 81 percent of respondents over 80 years stated to consider revealing personal information about themselves or another customer/user as misuse.
