The Great National Debate 2019
The grand débat national is a national debate and has been launched by Emmanuel Macron and his government on January 15, 2019. The debates will run during two months and citizens will be able to participate in Town-Hall-style gatherings across the country, as well as making proposals on an online platform until mid-March 2019. Following, findings will be summarize and concrete proposals will be presented to Macron's government. Major topics have been decided: taxation, low-carbon economy, democracy, citizenship, the functioning of the government and public services.
