Consumer expectations of the future cost of food in Belgium 2018 The statistic displays the results of an Ipsos survey regarding consumer expectations of the future cost of food in Belgium in 2018. The survey results suggest that as of 2018, attitudes towards future food prices were largely pessimistic. 60 percent of people surveyed indicated that they expected the cost of the food they eat to get worse in future, whereas just ten percent of survey respondents expected food prices to improve.
