Video services considered essential by consumers in the U.S. 2020

A survey conducted in late March 2020 revealed that 49 percent of consumers across the United States said that they considered Netflix to be an essential service. Newcomer to the SVoD market Disney+ fared well, with 15 percent of respondents deeming the service to be a 'must-have', higher than more established platforms HBO and HBO Now.
