Hire and termination rate in Poland 2008-2016

This statistic shows the employment and dismissal rate on the Polish labor market, as annual figures from 2008 to 2016. Over the time period observed the rate of employed and dismissed persons increased annually and reached almost 25 percent for hired and over 22 percent for workers whose employment was terminated in 2016.

The source adds the following information: "The hire (termination) rate is calculated as the ratio of the number of hires less the number of persons returning to work from child-care and until 2008 from unpaid leaves (or the number of terminations less the number of persons granted child-care and until 2008 unpaid leaves) during a survey period to the number of persons employed on a given day as of 31 XII of the previous year."
