This statistic presents the current-dollar value added to the total economy (GDP) by the digital economy in the United States from 2005 to 2018, sorted by type. During the most recently measured period, services dominated the digital economy, relative to goods, accounting for around 93 percent of total digital economy current‐dollar value added. Total digital services current-dollar value add was 1.72 trillion U.S. dollars.
