Number of psychiatrists in Brazil 2022

In 2022, approximately 13.8 thousand medical psychiatrists were registered in Brazil, up from around 11.9 thousand mental health care specialists reported two years prior. The number of licensed psychiatrists increased during the depicted period by about 6.3 thousand doctors, or 84 percent, compared to 2013, when the number of medical psychiatrists registered in the country amounted to about 7.56 thousand professionals.
