This statistic presents the list of favorites to win a Goya Award according to the activity shown on Twitter in Spain between December 13, 2017 and February 2, 2018. Among the films nominated in the category of best film, the feature film by Aitor Arregi and Jon Garaño "Giant" was the Twitter users favorite to win the statuette, with approximately 49 percent of the posts registered within that category. For her performance in the film "Holy Camp!", the actress Anna Castillo was the favorite to win as best supporting actress with more than 80 percent of the posts in that category. However, neither of the two options was chosen by the Spanish Academy of Arts and Cinematographic Sciences, which granted the Goya for Best Film to "The Bookshop" and for Best Supporting Actress to Adelfa Calvo for her role in "The Motive".
