This statistic shows the cumulative risk of developing cancer in Sweden in 2017, by age and by gender. Under 25 years, the risk of developing cancer was equal for men and women, at 0.5 percent. In the ages of over 25 to 65 years, women had a higher risk of developing cancer than men. Between 65 and 75 years, the risk of developing cancer for men was 31.4 percent, and 27.9 percent among women.
