According to the most recent data, just eight percent of respondents stated that they never listened to music, with the vast majority saying that they listened to music every day and 20 percent reported doing so two to three times per week. Music consumption habits in the U.S. vary by age; younger generations listen to music more frequently than their older peers, and adults aged 55 or above were more likely to report listening to music less frequently.
