Non-payment of wages was the most common form of coercion experienced by victims of forced labor worldwide in 2021. More than one third of the victims had experienced this type of coercion. Moreover, more than one in five had experienced abuse of their vulnerability, and slightly less had been victims of some form of direct threat. On the other hand, only 0.5 percent had been victims of sexual violence.
