Note: According to the source, a preschool program is defined as a structured, play based learning program, delivered by a degree qualified teacher, aimed primarily at children in the year or two before they commence full-time schooling.

Socio-economic groups are derived by an Index of Relative Socio-economic Disadvantage and are aggregated into quintiles, where 1 is the most disadvantaged and 5 is the least disadvantaged.

The reference period for data collection for all states differs slightly, however the permissible period spans from June 27, 2019 to August 9, 2019 inclusive.
