The Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan Inc. was the world's largest potash producer and one of the leading fertilizer producers in general. On January 1, 2018, PotashCorp and Agrium completed a merger of equals, thus creating Nutrien, the world’s largest provider of crop inputs and services. In 2023, Nutrien produced approximately 13 million metric tons of potash.
