The survey results suggest that as of 2017, there was a significant difference between the daily news consumption habits of respondents under the age of 29, and those over 50 years of age. In 2017, 40 percent of survey respondents between 18 and 29 years of age listened to the news on the radio daily, while close to 60 percent of respondents aged 50 years or older did so.
