
Urbanization in the Caucasus countries 2021
This statistic shows the degree of urbanization in the Caucasus countries from 2011 to 2021. Caucasus stands for the mountain range between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea, encompassing areas in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Russia. Urbanization is defined as the share of urban population in the total population. In 2021, 63.43 percent of the total population of Armenia lived in urban areas.
