Deaths due to senility in Spain 2021, by autonomous community
In 2021, the number of deaths due to senility in Spain amounted to about 2.2 thousand cases, an increase compared to the values reported in recent years. By autonomous community, Andalusia ranked first, with a total number of deaths from an age-related cognitive decline of 676 cases. Meanwhile, the Basque Country had reported 449 casualties due to health problems associated with aging, such as dementia.
