In 2018, a total of 119.97 million hectoliters of beer were produced in Mexico. In that year, industrial breweries accounted for close to 99.8 percent of beer production, with 119.78 million hectoliters. In comparison, craft breweries produced nearly 190 thousand hectoliters of beer, accounting for close to 0.2 percent of beer production.
