Mexico: craft beer sales distribution 2018, by beer type

Craft beer has become increasingly popular in Mexico, with production reaching an estimate of more than 189 thousand hectoliters in 2018. In that year, the most sold type of craft beer in the country was Pale ale, a type of light colored beer made mainly with pale malt, with 19.3 percent of craft breweries citing it as the most sold type. India pale ale (IPA) followed, with 18.23 percent of craft breweries naming it as their most sold kind of beer.
