Italy: opinion on hate speech 2017
This statistic depicts the results of a survey about opinions on hate speech among children and teenagers in Italy in 2017. According to data, 57.7 percent totally agreed that hate speech was an acceptable way to vent anger, while 44 percent believed that it avoided that aggressiveness and hates were expressed in real life. Only 7.9 percent considered hate speech to be a serious form of aggression, where 8.2 percent thought that it could have consequences in the real life of the people offended.
