Brazil: ethanol fuel price 2008-2019

In 2019, a liter of commercial (hydrous) ethanol fuel was sold at approximately 2.9 Brazilian reals, twice the price reported in 2008 (based on current prices, not adjusted for inflation). In terms of regional distribution, the price of ethanol fuel for consumers was highest at the North region, while the Southeast region reported the lowest prices.
