Mexico: perceived insecurity by gender and location 2019

A national survey conducted from March to April of 2019 revealed that almost 87 percent of adult women in Mexico felt unsafe at ATMs located on the street, whereas around 78 percent of the adult men interviewed said the same. The perceived level of insecurity was also over 11 percentage points higher among women than men when it comes to visiting a bank.
