Attitudes of employees towards taking a sick day in Singapore 2018, by age group This statistic shows the share of respondents in Singapore who would not come in to work when ill as of November 2018, sorted by age group. During the period measured, 61 percent of those surveyed who were 55 years old and above stated that they would not come to work when unwell. In comparison, 38 percent of those surveyed who were between the ages of 18 to 34 years indicated that they would take a day off if they were sick.
