Brazil: Cemig's electricity loss share 2013-2019
In 2019, the electricity lost as a result of distribution reported by Companhia Energética de Minas Gerais (Cemig) in Brazil amounted to approximately 13.57 percent of the total electricity input into the distribution system. This represents an increase in comparison to the previous year, when the company's electricity loss reached 12.48 percent. That same year, the average duration of Cemig's power outages also increased when compared to 2018.
