
Percentage change in varicella vaccine coverage in Italy 2018, by region
As of June 2018, the coverage of varicella (chickenpox) vaccine among children in birth-cohort 2015 increased by roughly eight percent compared to data collected in 2016 for the birth-cohort 2014. This statistic shows the different percentage changes across regions in the country. The Central Italian region of Abruzzo registered the greatest increase, with an increment of 16.92 percent in the vaccination coverage rate.
