This statistic presents the share of companies in decline as a percentage of total small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Italy from 2015 to 2020. According to the graph, the share of SMEs in decline decreased from about 22.8 percent in 2015 to 22 percent in 2017. Afterwards, the share increased. As of 2020, 39 percent of small and medium-sized enterprises were experiencing a decline.
