Latin America: cancer death rate 2020, by gender
Among the selected Latin American countries, the nation with the highest age-standardized death rate of all cancer types for both men and women in 2020 was Uruguay, with 166.1 men and 101.2 women per 100,000 inhabitants dead. While the cancer death rate was higher for men than women in most of the listed countries, the opposite was true in Peru and Bolivia. That year, both women and men also had the highest cancer incidence rates in Uruguay compared to other selected countries in the region.
