Monthly spending share in urban areas Vietnam 2018, by category

In a survey conducted in 2018, urban consumers spent 27.1 percent on fresh good and fast moving consumer goods and 11.9 percent on education. In rural areas, consumers also spent the most on fresh food and fast moving consumer goods at 26.9 percent, although they also spent 26.1 percent on investments and farming.
