This statistic displays the results of a survey conducted in 2017 on the share of children sharing their social media passwords with another person, by age and gender. Overall, password sharing was more common among girls than among boys. The age group that came first on the list among girls was 15 years, according to 54 percent of respondents. The age group which came first among boys was 17 years, according to 29 percent of respondents.
