As of May 2023, BDO Unibank was the largest company in the Philippines based on profit. That year, the company had a total profit of approximately 1.12 billion U.S. dollars. SM Investments came in second with about 799 million U.S. dollars in profit. BDO Unibank was also the largest company in the Philippines in terms of assets.
