Provinces by number of contested divorces in Spain 2017
This statistic ranks the fifteen Spanish provinces with the largest number of contested divorces in 2017. That year, approximately 1.2 thousand divorces were registered in the province of Valencia, which made it the third province with most divorces registered in 2017. Spain's largest cities, Madrid and Barcelona, ranked first and second respectively, with figures reaching nearly 3 thousand cases in Madrid and 2.3 thousand cases in Barcelona. Additionally, the number of contested marital separations in Spain has also been analyzed.
