Panama: number of malaria cases 2010-2018

In 2017, a total of 715 cases of malaria were reported in Panama, up from 689 cases registered the previous year. Since 2010, the number of cases of malaria registered in the South American country have not remained steady. It has gone from 418 cases in 2010, to 715 cases most recently, with many peaks and lows in between.
