Broadband use and connectivity around the world in 2012

This report, released by the Broadband Commission for Digital Development, offers an overview of the state of broadband access around the world. The report aims to raise awareness about the importance and the benefits of being connected to the internet. In one chapter the report deals with how broadband is able to support development, with respect to achieving the Millennium Development Goals. Another chapter looks at the need for leadership in the form of policy development and there is also a section discussing the need to invest in further infrastructure.
