This dossier presents graphs and tables about about the consumption and consumer behavior pertaining to non-alcoholic beverages within the United States. The dossier is broken down into the following six categories: bottled water, fruit juice, soft drinks, energy drinks, sports drinks and caffeinated drinks in order to provide a quantitative understanding of the U.S. non-alcoholic beverage market. The data were provided by Scarborough Research.

Scarborough Research measures the lifestyle and shopping patterns, media consumption habits and personal demographics of American consumers. Scarborough has become a leading source for local and national market-driven business solutions. Measuring more than 210,000 adults ages 18+ across 77 Top-Tier markets, Scarborough's two-phase collection process begins with a telephone interview and is followed by a mailed, self-administered consumer product questionnaire as well as a seven-day personal television diary. Scarborough measures over 2,000 consumer categories and brands, and serves a broad client base that includes marketers, advertising agencies, media and digital companies (broadcast and cable television, newspaper, radio stations, out-of-home media) and sports teams and leagues.
