Statista dossier on Newspapers in the U.S. (Scarborough)

This dossier presents graphs and tables about newspapers and their readers in the United States. It provides the user with readership figures for daily, Saturday and Sunday edition of major U.S. newspapers. The data were provided by Nielsen Scarborough.

Scarborough measures the lifestyle and shopping patterns, media consumption habits and personal demographics of American consumers. Scarborough has become a leading source for local and national market-driven business solutions. Measuring more than 230,000 adults ages 18+ across 77 Top-Tier markets, Scarborough's two-phase collection process begins with a telephone interview and is followed by a mailed, self-administered consumer product questionnaire and seven-day personal television diary. Scarborough measures over 2,000 consumer categories and brands, and serves a broad client base that includes marketers, advertising agencies, media and digital companies (broadcast and cable television, newspaper, radio stations, out-of-home media) and sports teams and leagues.
