Statista Dossier on Car drivers in the U.S. (Scarborough)

This dossier presents graphs and tables about car drivers in the United States. It provides data on car buying behavior, dealer choice and car ownership. The data were provided by Nielsen Scarborough.

Scarborough measures the lifestyle and shopping patterns, media consumption habits and personal demographics of American consumers. Scarborough has become a leading source for local and national market-driven business solutions. Measuring more than 210,000 adults ages 18+ across 77 Top-Tier markets, Scarborough's two-phase collection process begins with a telephone interview and is followed by a mailed, self-administered consumer product questionnaire and seven-day personal television diary. Scarborough measures over 2,000 consumer categories and brands, and serves a broad client base that includes marketers, advertising agencies, media and digital companies (broadcast and cable television, newspaper, radio stations, out-of-home media) and sports teams and leagues.
