The survey the report in based on was fielded in 11 countries (Australia, Brazil, China, Colombia, France, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, the United Kingdom and the United States) in the second quarter of 2014. Such data is presented as popularity of soccer in the above mentioned countries, locations of viewing, devices and media used for this purpose. Additionally, special attention is given to the use of mobile devices to follow the World Cup.
