Coffee in numbers 2015 There are 25 million coffee farmers worldwide. The average export proceeds for a tonne of raw coffee from Kenya is 6,488 US dollars. Mexico accounts for 32.3% of the global export volume of Bio coffee. On average Danish adults daily drink 280.8 milligrams of caffeine from coffee. 30.5% of Austrians believe that coffee consumption among children and young adults over 14 years old is acceptable, corresponding figures of 26.7% in Switzerland and 23% in Germany. 71.8% of male and 69.1% of female coffee drinkers from Germany, Switzerland and Austria, believe that coffee increases their well-being.
