IT security trends report 2016

The survey, conducted online in the fourth quarter of 2015, reveals information regarding IT and security budgets for financial services (including banking and insurance), technology providers, government, education and health care. The study shows security budgets are aligning with the business needs of organizations, where security is being positioned as a business enabler. The key questions asked of respondents are who is involved in security budgeting and spending, what amounts are being budgeted and spent why and where is the money being allocated and/or spent, and how are budgets and spending being justified, tracked and controlled.
